North Sewickley Township
This tab has been created based on discussions with residents in an attempt to "continue the conversation." Whether that be regarding recent meetings, Township applications, zoning updates, etc. Let's bridge the gap of controversary and keep the communication going. This will be continuously updated with an effort to keep you informed and up to date with Township discussion.
It was recommended at the Planning Meeting on 2/4/24 to make several changes to the zoning ordinances, please click the button below to review the changes. In addition, it was recommended by the Planning Committee to remove commercial solar from AR (Agricultural Residential) and add it to CC (Commercial Corridor) and I (Industrial) districts. Along with adding decommissioning language and other criteria to come.
Continued discussion has been held on the Ordinance linked below. Please feel free to review the document and come to the Planning Meetings, the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm, prepared with your discussion points for consideration. Many edits have been in progress since the original presentation to the Planning Committee. To get the most up to date information, meeting attendance or watching the videos from the meeting minutes page is most appropriate.
